Heather Childers

   Heather Star Childers (American television news anchor) She was a news anchor for Fox News Channel from 2010 to 2020. The current anchors are American Agenda, Newsmax TV. Childers was born in Hartsville, South Carolina, and grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1987, she graduated from Myers Park High School. Childers was a student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She then graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a bachelor's degree. Childers started her professional career as a journalist and producer for WCNC-TV, Charlotte in the 1990s. She was employed by WLOS (the ABC affiliate) in Asheville and Georgia and also for television news stations in Albany and Georgia. In 2002, she became an anchor at News 14 Carolina. Childers was hired by Fox News Channel in November 2010 as a reporter and was promoted to anchor America's News Headquarters in August 2011. In 2017, Childers was promoted to host Fox & Friends First's first episode, which airs at 4-5 a.m. Childers tweeted a message in April 2012, referring to an article published on a website known as a fringe one that advertised "birther" conspiracy theories. The article claimed that Barack Obama had threatened Chelsea Clinton's life, if she spoke of Obama's "Obama birth certificate or lack thereof."
