It was hailed as an enormous success by critics, and was awarded numerous prizes. Blue Bloods is another of her works. This show received mostly positive reviews. Ray appeared in many movies too, including the musical comedy The Rumperbutts and the drama Not Waving But Drowning. She played the main role. Then she played an important role of 12 Rounds (2009). Cole proved that she could portray women that were more complex as they seemed. She then starred as the stunning and beautiful character in The Event, a science-fiction show.
