Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos (Canadian actress) is Tracy Spiridakos. She appeared in the Teletoon children's comedy show Majority Rules as Becky Richards. From 2009 to 2010, she played Becky Richards in the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules! She then starred as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson in the NBC post-apocalyptic science fiction show Revolution from 2012 to 2014, for which she was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. Annika Johnson was the character Annika on the A&E TV series Bates Motel. Spiridakos has appeared on the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. in the role of Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba by George Spiridakos and Anastasia Spiridakos, Greek-born restaurant owners. Spiridakos is the daughter of two brothers. The family relocated to their father's home town, Skala, Greece south of Sparta just a few years after her birth but returned to Canada in 1992. Spiridakos is incredibly at home with her Greek heritage, and she is fluent in Greek. Spiridakos started acting in her junior high school. Then she attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She graduated from Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She was offered her first television role within a matter of weeks, a minor part with Supernatural. She continued her television work as a walk-on in Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos played in the TV movie Goblin and in the web-based show Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Spiridakos also appeared on Being Human as the werewolf Brynn McCLean. In 2009 she was cast in her first role in a starring part in the role of Becky Richards, a 15-year-old girl who appeared on Canadian Teletoon's Majority Rules! Her debut feature film came in the year 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In Kill for Me, she played alongside Katie Cassidy and Donal Logue. Spiridakos played Sammi in Rags the movie, an Nickelodeon original film. Then she was offered a leading part on the NBC television series Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, one of the survivors in a futuristic dystopian world. In her pilot season, she auditioned for the part. Spiridakos produced the pilot in Atlanta and the pilot season in Wilmington. For her performance in the pilot, she was nominated to win the Saturn Award for Best Actress on television. She was defeated by Anna Torv from Fringe's The Good Place. Production moved to Austin, Texas for the second season.
