Kaitlyn Anne Vincie
Kaitlyn Vincie was born December 10, 1987 and is an American journalist. She is a reporter for Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's love for stock car racing started when she was issued a pit lane pass, and following her graduation from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a reporter for Langley Speedway. She gained attention after her own videos on NASCAR were posted on the stock car racing website SceneDaily. Vincie was born on December 10 1987 in Harrisonburg. She was born in Bridgewater, Virginia before her family moved from Warrenton to start her high school. She is the daughter of John and Margaret Vincie and has a younger sister. Vincie's maternal grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her grandfather. He was part of Bridgewater College's faculty. She was interested in journalism since a young age. Vincie was a graduate of Fauquier High School. Vincie participated in track and field competitions and also served as the coach of the school’s wrestling team for four seasons. Vincie won in the 800-meter event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie got to know Al Pearce, a journalist who mentored her and provided Vincie lots of advice. Vincie completed her degree at Christopher Newport University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in communication. Vincie worked as an intern for the university's athletics division. She also worked for Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. She wrote her senior dissertation on gender inequality in auto racing which was focused on woman race car driver Danica Patrick. She got attracted to the sport when she secured a pit lane pass to the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her influences include Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda, and Wendy Venturini.
