Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American television chef and the former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef at the Food Network. Anne Burrell, a Food Network celebrity with her signature spikey blonde hair and bubbly personality, reveals simple methods to master and removes anxiety about restaurant food in her series Secrets of a Restaurant. The chef Burrell is also an experienced chef of New York City's best restaurants. She has also learned about Italy's food traditions and culture, as well as the geography. Growing up in the Upstate region of New York Chef Burrell was infatuated by food. The Culinary Institute of America was the next step for her following her graduation with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication in the fall of 2004 from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a fantastic adventure. It was impossible to take enough out of it. After graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany and La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) as she attended the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Her time spent in Italy helped her to understand and appreciate the Italian way of life and its culture which has had an impact on her own culinary perspective. Burrell has served on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that brightens the lives of children facing difficulties. She also serves as a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Celebrity Ambassador, where she promotes children with diabetes and awareness. She has been a frequent speaker at conferences and travels the country in her mentorship task. Anne has stated throughout her professional career she's grateful to be able be able to share what's most important to her.
