Rochon is a native of Torrance, Los Angeles suburb of Torrance she is her parents being Zelma, a nurse practitioner and Samuel Staples, a business director and graphic designer. Cerritos High School, Cerritos California is where Rochon graduated from high school in 1982. She graduated in 1986 from California State University Dominguez Hill (CSUDH) with an undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism. She also majored in Theatre and Sociology. Rochon was featured as a guest speaker at the CSUDH's College of Arts and Humanities ceremony at the beginning of 2016.

Heather Storm has been a TV host and producer for various networks. She also writes about travel. She is a lover of cars, she was a series host of Garage Squad on Discovery's MotorTrend Network, Street Tuner Challenge on Speed TV and a guest on Jay Leno's Garage. Heather's digital travel program, Drive Yourself Local is the name of a show where she drives across America in a 1965 Ford Mustang and shares small town tales. Heather has been featured in numerous television and film shows, including Nightingale and Epic Movie.

Ullerup was seen as Julia Brynn for the first appearance in Battlestar Galactica: The Remake which aired in 2006 Sci Fi Channel. In the first two seasons on Sanctuary, she appeared as Ashley Magnus until the character was deleted. The reason for her departure was a source that caused heated discussion among the viewers, with a majority of them wanting her brought back in future episodes, until the show was cancelled in 2012. Ullerup was cast in the year 2016 as Bree O'Brien for Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup was Maggie Thomas as the estranged ex-wife of Michael Thomas in Asteroid: Final Impact. Ullerup's regular role in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered series has been Dale Travers since 2016.
