Kelly grew up in South Carolina with her two older sisters, Kaitlyn (and Carolyn) and her mother, Carolyn. Kelly hasn’t provided any details regarding her parents (names and professions) however. She was a child who enjoyed attending baseball games with her father. Kelly graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Youth Development Leadership from Clemson in South Carolina when she was finished with high school. She began working as a sports-related reporter, while also doing interviews for the show "ACC Kickoff", aired on Saturdays. Through 2013, she stayed at the network, and she also appeared on the "ACC NOW" show. After her time at ACC Digital Network, she was hired as a Fox Sports Florida sideline reporter. Through her hard job, Fox Sports Sun recruited her to report on the Tampa Bay Rays', Orlando Magic's, as well as Tampa Bay Lightning franchises.
