Mary-Louise Parker was born August 2nd on the 2nd of August, 1964. She is an American actress. She received both an Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award for her performance of Harper Pitt in the acclaimed HBO miniseries Angels in America in 2003.Parker was able to achieve huge successes in her role as Nancy Botwin, the lead character in the television series Weeds, which ran from 2005 to 2012, and for which she received three nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in the field of Comedy Series between 2007 and 2009, and also received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for a Television Series Musical or Comedy in 2006.Her other film roles include the roles in The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008), Red (2010), R.I.P.D. (2013) and Red 2 (2013). Parker was back on Broadway in 2019 to star in The Sound Inside, for which she was awarded her second Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. Since 2007, Parker has contributed articles to Esquire magazine, and also published her memoir Dear Mr. You, in 2015. She appeared in the ABC miniseries"When We Rise, as Roma Guy. She worked as a political advisor in the Showtime show Billions in 2018.
