Dawson, born May 9, 1979 [3in the US, is an American actress. Her first feature
film appearance was in 1995's drama series, the independent Kids. Her roles in
subsequent films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002).
Dawson has voiced for Warner Bros./DC Comics, Disney/Marvel and ViacomCBS
Nickelodeon. She has also been nominated for the Critics' Choice Film Award for
Best actress in a Comedy for Top Five (2014), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014),
and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson was born on the 9th of May, 1979 in
New York City. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, is of Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican
ancestry. Isabel was just 16 at the time that Rosario was born. She didn't
marry Rosario's biological father, Patrick C. Harris. When Rosario was one year
old, her mom got married Greg Dawson, a construction worker. Dawson is four
years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson’s half-brother. Dawson is also famous
for her appearances in comic book adaptations. This includes Gail in Sin City
(2005), Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple (2015-2018) and
Diana Prince/Wonder Women on the DC Animated Movie Universe. The actress also
plays the role of Barbara Gordon/Batgirl on The Lego Batman Movie. She also
voiced Ahsoka Tano's character for The Mandalorian's second series in 2020. The
character will also be the protagonist of the Disney+ original series Ahsoka.
She is also a regular role in the Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series
Young Rock in 2021.
