Lea Katherine Thompson


Thompson was born on May 31st 1961, in Rochester (Minnesota) Rochester, Minnesota. the youngest of five children of Clifford Barry Thompson, a musician. She has two older sisters, Coleen Goodrich (and Shannon Katona) and two younger brothers, Barry and Andrew. Her mother is Irish. Mikhail Baryshnikov , at the time, was time the artistic director. He told her "You are an amazing dancer however your body isn't a good fit." She described that incident as "my epiphany" which led her to stop dancing and turn into an ballet dancer.
